I am a newbie to the Striper scene and have thoroughly enjoyed your updates, photo, etc. I am from the Hbg/York area and have many years of wet wading the Susquehanna for smallmouths, cats & muskies under my belt. We made our first trip ever to the Flats Mar. 14…BRRR. We launched my 14′ double wide jon with 20 Merc jet equiped with trolling motor & electronics from Tyding’s and soon learned which direction not to go. We spot fished our way down to T Point, across to the lighthouse & back up to Tyding’s. You name we threw it…we even tried drifting nightcrawlers (my personal home waters favorite) without a strike. We knew we were quite early for stripers but both of us were suffering from severe cases of cabin fever. In any event, we somewhat familiarized ourselves with the waters and definately had a great time. Next trip will be Apr 11, then every fishable weekend after. Thanks again for a great website. There’s a high probability we may be doing business with you in the future. If you would care to converse in the meantime just shoot me an email…FISH ON…Mike Wolfe
